Thanks for posting this! We have software that looks for 'underwater' posts, i.e. posts with significant upvotes that haven't yet hit the front page. Mostly those are submissions of the sensational/repetitive variety, but every now and then we find an overlooked gem like this one!
Under normal circumstances we'd re-up the current submission (a la https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26998308), but in this case I noticed that the project creator had posted it as a Show HN: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45201396 -
... so we'll try to get them to repost it. If that hasn't appeared after a week or two, feel free to email us at hn@ycombinator.com and we'll send you a repost invite for it instead.
